No. This pad is designed for breathable comfort and soft moisture absorption with a pure cotton fill — not a plastic barrier. That means you stay cool and quiet while you sleep. If you need full protection, we also offer a waterproof mattress pad and a waterproof mattress protector.
Is it non-toxic and safe for kids and sensitive sleepers?
Yes. Every layer (shell, fill and skirt) is GOTS certified organic cotton, and the finished pad is OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified, tested free from over 100 harmful substances.
