Certified, Not Just Labeled
Organic is one of the most misused words in bedding. Here's what makes ours verifiably different.
GOTS is the world's leading organic textile certification, covering everything from cotton farming to final production. Unlike brands that certify only the shell, Delara's certification covers both the fill and shell for complete peace of mind.

"Breathable, best quality and temperature control I’ve found!"
"Love this duvet insert. So light and comfortable and feels really clean. Very happy with it."
"Perfect! I was really worried it would be too warm or not warm enough. I read reviews on this brand and several others. This seemed to be my best option because I can switch them out or use them together. It is still getting into the high 80s here and the all season layer is what we are currently using. It will probably be enough for the winter months, we rarely get below freezing. I may use the light layer during the summer months. I am usually a very hot sleeper and wake up drenched to the point of having to shower but so far I have had no problems with getting too hot. Will probably be purchasing for our grown children as well. This is our first wool duvet, really glad I went with this one!"
"Love this. Researched many different brands, didn’t want to pay $500 and also didn’t want cheap plastic fill. This was the best option, no chemicals, organic cotton, works perfect inside my new linen duvet. I love warmth level options so I’m comfortable all year round"
"I got the 3 in 1 wool comforter, so can speak to both the quality of the spring/summer weight and the all season. This is a really high quality product and I love that it is wool fill. Wool is sustainable, natural, non-allergenic for many, and temperature regulating. I don't overheat at all (which is a problem I have had with down and poly fill comforters) but am perfectly warm. The comforters are not as "poofy" as normal down or poly fill comforters but still very substantial, especially with both snapped together, and have a really comforting weight to them that really helps me sleep. Wool does have a "natural" smell especially when fresh but I found it in this product to be very mild and comforting, and it faded quickly with use. It is a sign that the wool is real and high quality anyway. Customer service was spectacular, there was an unexpected issue with my order and the team went above and beyond to make it right. I don't leave a lot of reviews but I am so happy with my Delara comforters!"
"It was definitely heavier than I expected, not as heavy as a weighted blanket but certainly heavier than a polyester filled duvet. Oh boy and when it’s wet, phew it is an arm workout. I definitely won’t be washing this duvet under very often because of that. Upon arrival it didn’t smell the best but it wasn’t terrible, overall it did have some odor so I decided to wash it. If you have a medium sized front load washer you will have a difficult time shoving this in there as it is quite large and heavy; however, per their care instructions it says to use a front load washer and on delicate. I ended up just doing it on regular setting in my front load washer on lukewarm water as cold water will not sanitize anything, especially if it’s coming from a factory (regardless of organic practices or not, you need to sanitize or launder anything upon arrival as you never know how long it’s been sitting or what touched it. When it was done washing, the duvet looked more transparent and I could see through it, and I saw these strange black specs inside the duvet within the cotton filling, which I’m guessing are organic matter maybe like dried cotton seeds or leaves, or something that is still attached to the cotton. I’m guessing because this is organic undyed cotton it means it’s natural and untouched, so seeds and twigs or something have not been separated? Idk, just weird and I’m a little concerned that this will later lead to odor, mold growth, or something else. Or maybe I am not supposed to be seeing these black specs in the duvet at all, and maybe I just got one that’s defective? Just strange that they would use that type of cotton to fill these duvets as it reminds me of trapped dirt, bugs, or seeds, none of which I really want inside of my duvet honestly. I would be grateful if the company could reach out to me and explain what I’m seeing, as it’s scattered all throughout the duvet and is mixed in with the filling. I want to know if this is normal and intentional, or if this is a quality control issue? I’ve attached a photo with a flashlight to help see inside the duvet. I’m very curious and want to avoid ripping open my duvet to figure it out. Thank you!"
"Excellent quality, slight manufacturing smell out of the box but I always wash bedding before use. Not light, pretty warm duvet"
"This is super worth it, light, soft cotton , organic and appropriately sourced. Love the feel."
"Have not used it yet. Seems on the heavy side. Was a real pain to put in the duvet cover. Would it be okay to use without the cover?"
