Responsible Materials
We prioritize sustainability by offering durable and timeless essentials, supported by important certifications.
GOTS Certified Products
We are proud to announce that an increasing number of our products are now GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certified. This prestigious certification ensures that our entire supply chain, from the cotton gin to the finished product, adheres to strict ecological and social criteria outlined by the GOTS organization. It also guarantees the absence of harmful chemicals and dyes.We are pleased to share that Delara is now GOTS certified by GOTS-IDFL-24.
OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 Certification
Our primary products have obtained the prestigious OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certification, indicating that they have undergone rigorous testing and are devoid of hazardous quantities of over 100 substances recognized as harmful to humans and the environment. Every component of our products, ranging from buttons to threads, undergoes thorough examination and testing.
Responsible Wool Standard Materials
We’re committed to purchasing our wool materials from RWS-certified suppliers, meaning the wool comes from farms that take a progressive approach to land management and respect animal welfare, ensuring a strong chain of custody for certified materials as they move along the supply chain.
Ethical Manufacturing
Our current focus is on collaborating with ethical manufacturers who align with our values and shared commitments to social and environmental responsibility. In industries that carry higher risks, we specifically choose to partner with Fair Trade Certified™ suppliers.
Fair Trade Certified Products
All our bedding are Fair Trade Certified, which means the factories meet strict standards for social, environmental, and economic practices.
These standards include ensuring safe working conditions, protecting the environment, promoting sustainable livelihoods, and fostering community development.
GOTS Certified Products
The manufacturers of our GOTS-certified products must adhere to comprehensive criteria set by international organizations such as:
The International Labour Organization (ILO)
United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs)
Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).
These criteria cover various areas, including workplace freedoms, child labor, discrimination, health and safety, harassment and violence, living wage gap, working time, precarious employment, and migrant workers. We prioritize these standards at every step of the production process, from the cotton gin to the finished product.
Our Goals
We have established a path towards enhancing our operations, sourcing, supply chain, and brand. As we progress, we recognize the extensive work that lies ahead, understanding that continuous improvement is our ongoing journey rather than a fixed destination.
